DWARKA:-
Dwarka is an ancient city
in the northwestern Indian state of Gujarat. It’s known as a Hindu pilgrimage
site. The ancient Dwarkadhish Temple has an elaborately tiered main shrine, a
carved entrance and a black-marble idol of Lord Krishna. Dwarka Beach and
nearby Dwarka Lighthouse offer views of the Arabian Sea and best visiting place in Gujarat.
Story behind the making of Dwarka
temple is that king Vasudev II of Dwarka was defeated by Mahakshatriya
Rudradama. Upon the death of Rudradama, his wife, Queen Dheeradevi, invited his
brother Pulumavi, seeking guidance to rule. Rudradama had embraced the vaishnav religion and worshipped
Krishna at Dwarka. Vajranabha, his successor, built a chattri (an umbrella type monument)
and deified an idol of Krishna in it. Dwarka is famous tourist place in Gujarat.
HOW
TO REACH DWARKA:-
Dwarka is situated at coastal of Arabian sea. To reach
Dwarka from anywhere in India, first you reach at Vadodara or Ahmadabad by
flight or train. Dwarka also have railway station but connectivity is low. so
you have to choose travel by road. Distance from Vadodara to Dwarka is approx.
520 Km and from Ahmadabad to Dwarka is approx. 440 km.
Always booked your bus or taxi before starting journey for best visiting place.

STAY
IN DWARKA:-
As you know that, Dwarka is place of Lord Krishna and it
is Hindu worship place and top tourist place in Gujarat. whole year Hindu pilgrims are visited Dwarka. Many
religions DHARMASHALA are present in Dwarka. You can choose as per your comfort
or booked hotel before starting the journey. Many family come to Dwarka at the
time school's holiday. In India school's holidays are in month of April, May,
June and December. Dwarka is a coastal area and atmosphere in Dwarka is full of
humidity. So if you choose summer time to visit Dwarka you choose better hotel
to stay. Make my trip provide
you better solution and variety of hotel near to Dwarkadhish temple. I have
travelled in December. In this time weather is not cool and not so hot. As per
my opinion December is good time to visit Dwarka as a best visiting place in Gujarat and best place to visit in Gujarat in winter.
PLACE
TO VISIT IN DWARKA:-
1. Dwarkadhish
temple:- In Dwarka major attraction is Dwarkadhish temple and this
temple is situated middle of city and followed by small streets. Every time you
visit the Lord Krishna temple in whole India, there is timing for opening of main door of temple for DARSHAN of
Lord Krishna. These timing is readily available in your staying hotel.
So make your time accordingly. I was visit temple in two time in day, one in
the morning and one in the evening. POOJA is going to organised in morning and
evening. Temple door opening schedule have many time in the day. Dwarkadhish temple is popular place in Gujarat.
The most important that i want to share is that in temple
mobile phones, cameras and wallets are not allowed. Photography or Vediography
is also not allowed. so you have to keep your belonging at your hotel.
Belongings retaining counter is there, near the hotel but it have a risk of
valuable item lost. Dwarka is come under the Gujarat beautiful places.
In the temple so much crowds are present, at that time
you need to be patients for DARSHAN of Lord Krishna. Do not put yourself in
hurry and get out from the temple. after taking the DARSHAN of Lord Krishna you
need to stay in temple at least 30 minute by setting down on the floor of
temple. This provides you internal piece and you feel very good in yourself and
that the magic of temple.
The
most common thing the people do is TULA DAN, it mean that you have to DAN or
donate something, which is equal to your weight and about TULA DAN, more thing
explain by PANDITJI, who is going make these thing happen for you. In my
opinion you should take these opportunity. Because it's feel good and good as a best visiting place in Gujarat.
Outside of temple, you will find small shops of
traditional and nontraditional item. You can buy something to decorate your
home and help to small shopkeeper to maintain their life.
Dwarka is placed at sea coast and income resources are
very less. People who lived in Dwarka make money by selling different type of
item in shops and serving all tourist. In Dwarka you will find that each home is hotel. These is
because of less income resources.
In Dwarka around 6 km no drinking water is
available, all drinking comes from 6 km away from Dwarka, this is because of sea
coast. These make Dwarka people life
more difficult.
Dwarkadhish temple is in the city so you have no
difficulty to found it.
Reason behind to say these, many other places are there
which is need to see by you and that is:-
2. Rukamani temple
3. Gopi Talab
4. Nageshwar Temple
5. Bet Dwarka
To visit these above mentioned places you need to get
help from local conveyance provider. But one great thing is there to help you.
Dwarka municipal corporation is operating bus service. Bus starting is near to
municipal corporation and you can ask any local person for these facility.
Buses is operated in morning and afternoon time only. Because to visit above
places approx. 4-6 hr is required. Guide is available with each bus. These is good for best visiting place in Gujarat and Gujarat best place to tour.
2. Rukamani
temple :- Rukamani temple is situated at outside the Dwarka. This is
the first place you going to visit at outside the Dwarka and it is 5-6 km far
from the Dwarka and best visiting place in Gujarat. In December and June more crowd is observed and this is small
temple and queue is very long for DARSHAN. As per my experience i was heard so
many loud voice for donate or DAN. These voice come from different type of
PANDITJI. This thing happen, when you visited any spiritual places. It is all
depend on you how to avoid or become a wise. The most common thinking or
mentality is that donate some money because you are come to spiritual places.
As per my opinion stick to these thinking because it's gives us internal piece.
You are come to spiritual places not only for visiting god temple but also for
see the culture, life style and nature around them. Surprisingly i heard the
voice in from loudly crowd that please donate one tanker of water, means that
donate 5000 litre of water for drinking of cows. I have already mentioned the
reason but point is that you can donate water also and heard this first time in
my life. I heard the voice from our guide that come fast take your
seat.
3. Gopi Talab :- Gopi Talab near to
Rukamani temple. Gopi Talab famous for ancient time and best visiting place in Gujarat. Who is called Gopi and
answer is Lord Krishna's female friends called Gopi. In Gopi Talab, all Gopi's
are swimming in the talab and Lord Krishna theft their clothes. In these small
village you will find many small temple of many Gopi's. I was really surprised
, how the villagers are survived here and one think i understand that only Lord
Krishna help to survived.
4. Nageshwar
temple :- Nageshwar temple is
approx. 25 km from the Dwarka. This is God MAHADEV temple and one of
JYOTIRALING and best visiting place in Gujarat. One major attraction here is big statue of BHAGAWAN MAHADEV and it
is outside of temple. Height of statue is approx. 40 feet. It is looking very
beautiful and best place to taking selfies. Crowd is very high and long queue
here and you have to be patient for your turn to DARSHAN of JYOTIRALING and best places to visit in Gujarat.
5. Bet Dwarka :- Bet Dwarka is 40 km
from Dwarka and another temple of Lord Krishna. Bet Dwarka is a Island and best visiting place in Gujarat. For
reach at Bet Dwarka you need to take a boat. So many boats are available at
coast of Arabian sea. If you come along with your person vehicle than there is
no need to hurry, but when we travel through municipal buses than you need to
be hurry, because they give you limited time.
When board in boat, be careful because all people are in
hurry and they pushing each other for boarding on boat. At sea coast there is
so many boats and they are seeking for passengers. When i was there, charges are
Rs 20 per passenger and these may be increased at season time. Boat take
approx. 20 min to reach Bet Dwarka and these place is good place for visiting in Gujarat.
Generally boat takes travel path in bow
shape so that travel time is go long and passengers are enjoying the sea ride and these make it best visiting place.
When you dropped at dropping point of boat and temple is approx 1 km far away
from dropping point. Temple is open whole but closed at 8.30 pm in evening. So
it is better to travel in morning for Bet Dwarka. After DARSHAN of Lord Krishna
go back to boat and travel again on sea and reach to bus or personal vehicles.
Dwarka is best place for 2 days trip in Gujarat and also best place in Gujarat for vacation.
FOOD
IN DWARKA:- Dwarka is in Gujarat state and maximum
availability of is Gujarati food and you can enjoy Gujarati food for test
change. Some of hotel also provide you Punjabi and other food and can find easily
these type of hotel. Because Dwarka is small city. When i was there, i have ate
Gujarati as well as Punjabi food.
