ABOUT PUSHKAR:-

Pushkar is small town in Rajasthan of Indian state. It’s well known as a Hindu pilgrimage site. Pushkar is famous for Lord Brahma or JAGATPITA BRAHMA temple.

Lord Brahma is a creator of these existing world as per Hindu pilgrimage. Lord Brahma temple is famous in the world, because this is only one temple of Lord Brahma present in world. Lord Brahma temple and Indian culture made Pushkar as a tourist place and best visiting place in Rajasthan.

HOW TO REACH PUSHKAR:-

Pushkar is approx. 10 km away from Ajmer and 150 km from Jaipur city. Ajmer have a railway station and have a good connectivity of train from all over India. When i visited Pushkar i have travelled trough car.

It is very good if you choose car or taxi for visit to Rajasthan. Because whole Rajasthan is a tourist place and it is become very convenient and comfortable to have car for travel to reach one tourist place to another tourist place.

At the entrance of Pushkar you may ask for tourist visit charges for visit of Pushkar by municipal of Pushkar.

As you know that huge amount of tourists are coming from India and international also. These small charges are for maintaining the cleaning and beauty of Pushkar. You can ask for your way from these people and they may help for finding your way, if you travel first to Pushkar.

Always try to reach in day at Pushkar, because it is easy to manage the things in a day.

STAY IN PUSHKAR:- 

Pushkar is become more famous now a days because it is attract the international tourist.  In Pushkar many number of hotel and DHARMASHALA is available for happy staying. Roof top hotels are famous in Pushkar and attract many international tourist.

We are Indian and always choose family hotel and also best for us. When i was there i choose one DHARMASHALA. It is very common, you can get easily DHARMASHALA with air condition room facility. Pushkar is a small city and you can get hotel near by a temple with walking distance.

PLACE TO VISIT IN PUSHKAR:-

1. Lord Brahma temple:- Lord Brahma temple is major attraction in Pushkar. Temple is situated in 6-7 ft height followed by marble stair.

In the main entrance of temple you need to go through security check with men and women separate line. Security check may take time, when crowd is more.

The most important that i want to share is that in temple mobile phones, cameras and wallets are not allowed. Photography or Vediography is also not allowed. So you have to keep your belonging at your hotel.

When you inter in the temple and followed the lane of pilgrim and when your turn for saw grave images of Lord Brahma, your peace in mind has been start and when you complete your DHARSHAN and your mind will be in peace.

I suggest stay 30 minute inside the temple and sit in the floor of temple. When your bare feet touches cool marble floor, you will feel very relax. I don't know what is the magic behind these, but it has really amazing feeling. JAGATPITA Brahma provide you internal peace and you will feel stress free for a time being and these make Pushkar as a best visiting place in Rajasthan.

The size of temple is high and you can easily accommodated, when crowd is more. When tourists are more than you can enjoy more. I think we can't enjoy tourist place alone.

2. Pushkar lake:- Another holy place is Pushkar lake. Pushkar lake is surrounded by many temples and GHAT. In Pushkar lake around 52 GHAT is there for Hindu pilgrim. These GHAT is for worship of our PITRU DEV (Ancestors) and many PANDIT JI (Priest) is there for worship of ancestors. POOJA or worship is nothing but the peace of  mind and peace of mind come through the donation or help to others.

Everybody want peace of mind and these come trough only doing the good thing in life. We have visited holy places because we want feel good in ourselves. These feel good factor comes from help to poor or challenged people or worship of our god and make Pushkar as a best visiting place in Rajasthan.

LIFE IN PUSHKAR:- Pushkar is small town and surrounded by THAR desert. As India is growing and now at these time all facilities are available. Modern facilities like internet and cyber cafes are easily approachable. Pushkar is famous as a tourist place so you can't feel only Rajasthani flavor. Many tourists come across the country and atmosphere of Pushkar has absorbed all culture from different communities.

Every tourist place grow according to traffic of tourist and it is never become easy to get tourist traffic throughout the year. Every tourist place have season period and same things happens with the Pushkar.

In Pushkar, you will found the little art work and this is for attraction of international tourist. Artist may explain the culture of India with the help of art work and you may found easily international tourist talking about art on any art shop.

Maximum dependency of Pushkar peoples are only tourists, that i was observed. You can saw every streets of Pushkar are full of shops like hand bags, Bed sheets, toys, Paper and cloth sheet art, women artificial jewellery, traditional Rajasthani dresses, cosmetics and many more.

Most of earning for Pushkar people come from hotel and shopping business. When you visit any tourist place don't be conservative and do some shopping, whatever you can afford. These can help tourist place people for maintaining their life style as a best visiting place in Rajasthan.

FOOD IN PUSHKAR:- As i said many community people visit Pushkar and everyone has different food requirement like south Indian, Gujarati and Punjabi etc. Good staying hotel provides you lunch and dinner as per your requirement or they can guide you where you can get, but need to ask for them.

In Pushkar, street foods are very famous like MIRCHI (Green chilli) VADA. MIRCHI VADA made with big green chilli, lapping over BESAN (Gram floor) and fried in vegetable oil.

Other famous food is MALPUA. This is sweet dish made by emulsion of MEDA and fried with GHEE and deep in CHASANI (Liquid sugar). This is very good in taste and those who like the sweet dish. You should not miss the taste.     

Another street food is big KACHODI. This name is very common between all Indian and  we are very familiar with that but in Pushkar taste is different.

All above street foods are very common in Pushkar and you get that easily in street food shops and retain in your memory as best visiting place in Rajasthan.
